Operating Instructions
Use the Blue Air Flow Slide Switch to turn the tool ON and adjust the airflow. Adjust the
temperature between 80° and 1100°F with the Red Slide Switch.

If the power cord becomes damaged, it can be replaced easily without opening the housing.
Note: To maintain your warranty you must use STEINEL replacement parts only. Use of
other power cords or parts will void warranty immediately.

1. Important! Disconnect tool from
power source.
2. Remove screw and detach cover

5. Pull out cable

6. Insert new cable and re-secure in
reverse (1. re-tighten terminal screws).
The field changeable heating element of the HG 2300 EM can be replaced within seconds.
1.Important!
Disconnect tool from
power source.
2. Undo the 4 screws at the
end of the guard sleeve.
3. Pull off guard sleeve with
outlet tube and heating
element and exchange
for new element.
4. Firmly screw guard
sleeve back on.
5.Attention: Rubber
bumper must remain
properly engaged.
